The Contacts function provides easy access to all your buyer and seller information. With this online management tool, you can view or modify existing contacts, add new contacts and associate search criteria or listing information to your contacts.
When you add a contact, you will enter the contact’s personal or “Detail” information. Then indicate the contact as a Buyer or Seller (or both) by linking it to specific search criteria and/or property listing information.
NOTE: Buyer and Seller contacts are similar to the Prospecting and Reverse Prospecting functions in previous versions of RE/Xplorer.
Adding a contact:
- Select Contacts from the Main Menu bar.
- Click Add. A blank Contact screen will be displayed.
- Enter all desired contact information into the fields provided.
NOTE: Fields with an asterisk (*) are required. You have to complete at least the Last name field in order to save the contact.
- Click Save (located at the top-left corner of the form) to store the contact detail information then click Continue.
- Click the down arrow next to details (upper left of the screen) and select Buyer Info.
- Click Add Search to associate the buyer contact with search criteria.Enter the buyer’s desired search criteria for properties.
- Click Save.
- Enter a search name for the contact at the Save Search window and click OK.
- Check the box for “Auto Prospect E-Mail” to automatically email listings to your customer every evening. The listings will be sent in the “Summary Photo” report format. You must have the contact’s primary email address completed and “Prefers Email” set on “Y” for this function to work properly.
NOTE: You will get a confirmation message.
