Palm Pilot REX 1

Note: Before you attempt to use the Palm Pilot feature in RE/Xplorer, verify that you have Palm Pilot Desktop software installed on your machine. This software should accompany your Palm Pilot.

• From the Main menu, click the Search button.
• Select Search Properties from the submenu.
• Perform a search. Click View and then scroll down through the Standard report options until you get to Palm List Data.
• Click on Palm List data.
• Click on Go to Setup if this is a new install

To setup the Database Link Application:

• Click Go To Setup.
• Click Install Shield Wizard.
• Follow the directions on the screen to install the Database Link Application.

Once the installation is complete open the Palm Desktop:

• From the main window Click Install, then click Add button
• In the Open dialogue box, click lst.prc, and then click Open.
• Click the Done button and exit the program.

Place Palm in cradle and press the HotSync button. This will load the lst.prc file into the palm. Now you can download listings into your Palm Pilot.

Downloading listings to your Palm Pilot:

• Perform a search then click on the View tab.
• Scroll down through the Standard report options and click on Palm List Data.
• Click the Continue button.
• Click Open this file from its current location.
• The Palm List Database Link window will display, type the name of the file and click o.k.
• Click OK again.

Place Palm Pilot in cradle and press the HotSync button.

Viewing Listings in Palm:

• Press the Home icon on the Palm Pilot.
• Select the file cabinet icon labeled List.
• Press the saved file name.
• The list of properties will display.
• Click on the address you would like to view.
