CRS

GAMLS has implemented a new source of public record information from Courthouse Retrieval System. The CRS PowerTool makes finding public property information easy. Effectively evaluate 38 counties of tax assessor property data by using the sales and mortgage information, interactive maps, a powerful comparable sales analysis feature, subdivision information, demographics, school reports, flood maps and more. Prospecting is a simple process of identifying your target market, creating labels, sending letters and graphics or marketing literature to your clients in seconds.

Tips:

Always check the Data Currently option on the left to see the last update date as well as the type of map that is available for the county.

  • GIS Maps are interactive and allow you to add and remove layers of information as well as measure distance and acreage.

  • Raster Maps are scanned images of the paper maps that the county provides and are not interactive.

When viewing a GIS detailed map, the tools on the page give you choices for viewing and managing the data that is displayed.
You are able to add or remove layers on the Property Map. On the left of the map, you will see a series of check boxes. Text and Parcel ID are selected when you open the map. You can remove all of the Text and/or the Parcel IDs that are displayed on the maps by un-checking the boxes. In some counties, you can also overlay an Aerial Photo, Buildings, Vegetation, and Flood Hazard Mapping onto the Property Map. You can look at recent sales of properties near the subject property by selecting the check box and the appropriate number of months. You may need to Zoom Out in order to see recent sales.

On the same map display on the right of the page, you will see the Flood Map option. This will open a new window and take you to FEMA’s website.
